Never used a toucher build personally but I did run Cripshot with 3 toucher guild mates in AB a few times which was quite fun.

Dunno if this was meant for PvE or PvP touching, but touching can be useful for farming in PvE. For instance, before Spun Ducky's conflagration toucher, the only way rangers could solo farm UW was with a trapping build, which was nerfed long ago. Now rangers can touch their way through clearing the icewastes and ecto farm the plains. There may be other faster methods of doing this, but if you really want to solo-ranger it, touching provides a viable alternative.

How are touchers hard to interrupt? They spam two skills over and over again...

That doesn't make sense. If they spam the two touch skills over and over, then it would be easy to interrupt them, and thus, I don't see the contradiction.
Dshot owns touchers.

Unless I missed something where spammers can no longer be interrupted. I like how everyone is trying to disagree with me when I'm obviously right.

Good luck.
They suck, but you have to admit, in RA they're sometimes kinda fun to run while bored ^^
Edit: @WhiteAsIce, the skills have a 2 second recharge, and very little casting time. If you D-shot it, they can still spam it a lot. Save D-shot for something WORTH interupting

Reading comprehension. He never said they were hard to interrupt, he questioned "how" in reply to people saying they were.

They mash the skills on recharge, it shouldn't be too challenging to fire a predictive dshot and hit one of their key skills.
I'm surprised this topic is still up. I thought people by now had realised touch rangers are a generally bad template.

And tell me something, when you're bored in RA and you run your toucher for fun, do you own with it??? Or do you suck with it??? Cos based on this statement, you suck with it!
Touchers are deamed lame cos people get owned with them... If I really want to start a fun general chat war I play a toucher in AB or RA and own people while reading all the "noob toucher" "lamer toucher wtf" comments...
Touchers are good imo, they have solid damage with self healing, defenses and a near constant speed boost. On the flip side, if you're a smart player playing against a toucher, you can easily disable him and kill him... but then again, how many smart players have you encountered in low end pvp??? hmmmm

Yeah that's the part where we assume that the player we're talking about know what he's doing.

Only time I get really pissed off is when there's a team of 4 touchers just running around camping a couple people who they kill over and over, then lol about in all chat, thinking they're top tier GvG material.

I enjoy a good toucher build in ab. Its fun. But anyone who playes a toucher build knows to stay away from eles lol. And there are 3 or 4 diffrent toucher skills that do dmg not just 2. Its a fun build to run and despite OMG TOUCHER NOOB everynow and again, its a hoot to play

People use touchers because they work. Just because something takes 0 brain cells to operate doesn't make it "bad". The majority of people I have met that talk like its the worst build in the game are usually just pissed because they either tried melee'ing them or they don't want have to change their bars to counter it...

The deal with touchers is they take out NPCs real easy. If you run out by yourself in AB or fort aspenwood you should be able to solo the cap points if you have the situational awareness to run when the real players figure out what you're up to and try and stop you. You force them to deal with you. By all means if you find a dumbass sin or 55 monk or warrior on their own, and they're too dumb to kite take em out, but you're goal is to farm the cap point NPCs. If you have a team of touchers thats 4*65 lifesteal every other second that can bypass prots with almost bottomless energy, the mobility of dodge and zojuns haste and up to 4 D-Shots. If you're not dumb yourself you can exploit the stupidity of others with the bar.

This.
Touchers are easy enough to avoid/kite/interrupt/kill, but when you have a group of Touchers in AB that caps, who don't try to engage players - only focus on NPCs - they can get the job done in short order.
When my bro wants to run his Toucher, I have a Touch Ranger build that I run to assist him with shrine capping from NPCs. That's it. No engaging non-NPCs. We run it for a specific purpose and do not deviate. If I've seen too many builds that would give a Toucher a problem in the previous rounds, I run a Cripshot or BA instead, simple as that.
